Heidi is in Frankfurt, but her heart belongs to the mountains. She misses her grandfather, Geißenpeter and the mountain pasture. The city is loud, strict and full of people - but Heidi feels alone.
She remembers the days with Geißenpeter when they used to walk across the mountain pastures together, herding goats and drinking fresh milk. But her homesickness grows stronger and stronger until it makes her ill. Finally, there is a surprising twist - and Heidi is allowed to return home!
